Come along and experience YESTER-YEAR with a Tour at the Mont De Lancey Historic Property in the Yarra Valley.

Our tour includes the fully furnished homestead with a wooden slab kitchen, home dairy, blacksmiths, woodturning, vintage machinery, and a museum. The slab kitchen contains many household items of the era.

The homesteads gardens are set in lawns graced by beautiful trees including a magnificent spreading oak.
The surrounding grounds are spacious and well maintained.

The homestead was home to four generations of the Sebire family before being gifted to be held in trust by the people of Victoria.
All the rooms are furnished as they would have looked over 100 years ago. Adjacent to the homestead is a rose garden with some splendid roses in flower.

One of the first structures that you see is the St. Marys Chapel, which is the former Church, originally in Wandin Yallock.
It was shifted to Mont De Lacey in 1993.
We can step inside this small chapel and view the magnificent wood-panelled walls and probably its original pews.

The gift shop leads to the museum, which is a treasure trove of the history of the area, both with artefacts and photographs.
Two Peas in Their Pod Cafe are sitting us in their dinning room for lunch and coffee and tea.

Experience the inspiring life story of Tina Turner, the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, who didn’t just break the rules – she rewrote them.
Featuring more than 20 of her iconic songs including Simply the best, River Deep, Mountain High and Proud Mary.

This smash hit musical is bringing Australian audiences to their feet night after night with critics calling it “a rock music spectacular ” and “breathtakingly exciting” Please register your interest with further details to follow closer to the time.
