The World Heritage movement attempts to identify and preserve the best of humankind’s cultural achievements between the period from the late Stone Age to the present.

Cultural World heritage sites exist in all continents and consist of the best-of -the -best that the world has to offer.
Many of them are busy tourist destinations.

This course explores the important sites of each continent in turn.
We learn about the sites, their history and cultural importance.
