Nominations: Nominations for Election of Executive and Committee Members 2020 -2021 will be held at the Annual General Meeting. All current positions will be declared vacant. The election of executives and committee members will take place. Nominations are invited for the following positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and six Committee Members. Sunbury U3A has a ruling that office bearer positions can only be held for a maximum of three years.
Given the COVID-19 restrictions this year, you only need to advise the secretary via email at email@example.com that you wish to nominate for a position on the committee. The current committee will accept and endorse all nominations received from financial members. If the number nominated for Committee positions does not exceed the total number required, no elections will be necessary. For those members who would prefer to scan and email a fully signed nomination, forms are attached below.
We encourage and welcome any financial member to nominate for the committee to take an active role in the planning and implementation of U3A Sunbury activities. An Overview of Roles is attached below for your information. Nominations should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org All nominations must be received by the secretary by Friday 31st July 2020.
