Our next private Cinema Session at Readings will be to see “The Duke” starring Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren. This is a British comedy based on a true story. In 1961, a 60 year old taxi driver steals a Goya’s portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London. He sends a ransom note saying that he will return the painting if the government invests in more care for the elderly. This movie has been given excellent reviews and of course Helen Mirren seems to be one of Sunbury U3A favourite stars.Please come and join us
