Cryptic Crosswords – 1st & 3rd Tuesdays 10:00 – 11:30am at the Footy Club. Come and exercise your brain and discover some of the mysteries behind cryptic crossword clues. They’re not so hard once you know how! We work together as a team on cryptic crosswords and help each other to learn some of the tricks.
We use The Age Cryptic Crosswords and also the Lovatt’s Cryptic Crossword collection for our source material. We work together as a team to solve a cryptic crossword and, in most classes, we learn a new word or two!
You are most welcome to come and join us on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 10:00am to 11:30am in the Sunbury Football Social Club Boardroom. There’s no pressure, you can just sit back and listen to how we solve the different types of clues, and we’ll explain in detail as we go. Group Leader: Jo
