  • What happens at U3A? Our courses cover a wide range of interest areas, from academic to physical and artistic activities. Our members enjoy both the intellectual engagement and the social aspect of our courses.   • How much does it cost? Membership fees and other joining information can be found here
  • How can I find out more? You can find out more by browsing some of the links on our homepage navigation page. If you would like to speak to someone just click here to drop them an email with you phone number and our membership secretary will be happy to talk with you.
  • What are the term dates? Term dates vary to suit Victorian school holidays, the current ones can be found here.
  • How can I join? All instructions and application methods can be found here
  • What is the membership period? Membership is due upon joining and then renewed annually at the start of the year in January. Reminders are always sent out.
  • How and when can I renew? Annually at the start of the year in January
  • How and when can I enroll in classes? You can enroll in a class at any time. If spaces are available the administrator will include you and you will be notified. If spaces are not currently available you will be placed on a wait list and notified when one becomes available.
  • I can’t use the membership system what do I do? To use the membership system one must be a member and have a password which would have been established at enrollment. There is a help guide for members here it also includes a contact number if you still have issues.
  • I have forgotten my member ID or password what do I do?To use the membership system one must be a member and have a password which would have been established at enrollment. There is a help guide for members here on how to reset your password. If you have also forgotten your password you can email the membership secretary here and have her contact you.
  • How do I know what is on? Click here to see our course offerings or here to see our full list of current activities. As new items are added to these offerings members are notified by email.
  • I booked for an activity, and I can’t go, can I get a refund? This is decided on a case by case basis by the event coordinator after a request from the member.
  • Who can join U3A? U3A Sunbury was established for people in their third age who are over the age of 50 and are retired or are semi-retired. 
  • Who conducts the programs? Members with a particular interest or knowledge conduct the programs
  • What happens if the course I select is full? If spaces are not currently available you will be placed on a wait list and notified when one becomes available. Sometimes a course leader will permit an extra member and you will be advised, but this very much depends on the type of course it is.
  • Am I still on the wait-list for a class? You are usually notified by the course coordinator when you are wait listed. If you wish to check the status of your enrolment you a can always email the course coordinator.
  • Who do I contact if I can’t find an answer in the FAQs? You click on the link at the lower left of this screen and submit the question to the webmaster via email.
  • Does my previous enrolment in an activity automatically roll over to the next year? No, however previous enrolments will be favoured before new enrolments.
  • How do I withdraw from an activity? Advise the course coordinator by email here and it will be taken care of.
  • Do I get a discount on fees if I enroll later in the year? Yes, you do get a discount if you join later in the year. At them moment if you join it is $20 not $40.
