Mar 19th – Guest Speaker – Zoo Victoria Conservation Ambassador Volunteers

One of the Zoo Victoria Conservation Ambassador Volunteers is going to be the guest speaker at our meeting.  She/he will talk with us about the zoo’s conservation efforts and will give us practical advice on how we can assist those efforts with simple actions.  The volunteer programme consists of more than 800 volunteers who play an important part in supporting the zoo’s organisational goals to fight local wildlife  extinction.  The roles vary from helping guide visitors around the zoo to administrative roles.  The volunteers’ focus is on helping visitors to maximise their visit to the zoo and making it a most enjoyable experience.

Please come along to hear about the what is happening at our local zoo and other zoos close to Melbourne.  This promises to be an interesting morning and (hopefully) all your questions will be answered!
