The aim of this course is to introduce participants to the study and discussion of the suppression of women from the time of early civilisations to the present day and to develop a greater understanding of the changing roles of women throughout the ages.
This course will also look at the various theories of why women have not been treated as equals and then trace the development of the movement towards equality in the Western world from ancient time to modern day.
Through the course, Catherine will also explore the impact that a number of women have had within their time.
