A series of presentations that discuss what the Webb Telescope is and what it has achieved in the short time it has been active.
The course will cover, the technology of the telescope itself, how do you build and launch such a machine, how it complements the Hubble in its search for the oldest galaxies and stars, how it works to find and investigate exoplanets, and how far it has seen into the past in an effort to gain a better understanding of how the early universe formed.
And of course we will look at, and analyse, the miraculous image it is sending to us.
