The movie is adapted from a best selling book by the same name. Abandoned as a girl, Kya, raised herself in the dangerous marshlands of North Carolina. Isolated from the community of Barkley Cove. Kya is drawn to two men from the town and opens herself up to a new and startling world. However when one of them is found dead Kya immediately becomes a suspect. The case unfolds threatening to reveal the many secrets of Kya’s life.

With great cinematography, an interesting story line and staring Daisy Edgar Jones from the series Normal People, Crawdads is well worth watching.
