Today our Guest Speaker is Detective Senior Sergeant Emma Lobb from the Victorian Police Force who will talk with us about a very interesting Missing Person Cold Case.
Emma will talk about the resulting investigation leading to the surprising outcome of this case which is not to be missed.
We enjoyed the previous talk Emma provided us with (The Strawberry Tampering Investigation) and we are sure that likewise, this case will not disappoint.
When we last saw Emma she was working to help set up an internal investigation department for RMIT, but her heart has always been with the Police and recently she has returned and is now running the Brunswick Police Station, which she is thoroughly enjoying being back in the operational side of the force.
In 2003 Emma was promoted to Detective Senior Constable working in the Fraud, Cold Cases and Homicides and Missing Persons, and was within Crime Command involving highly classified cases.
2019 Emma was promoted to Senior Detective Sergeant at the Road Policing Enforcement Division and a year later received another promotion to Inspector as the Staff Officer to the Assistant Commissioner Road Policing Enforcement Division.
Throughout her time the Victorian Police Emma has undertaken numerous educational qualifications and has been a recipient of various awards.
