Come and join us for our first coach tour of the year. There is something here for everyone.
We meet at the Bowling Club carpark at 8.30am to be ready to board the coach by 8.45am to travel to Daylesford, arriving at 10.00am for a Devonshire Tea and a Convent tour.
Here is a chance to immerse yourself in history, art, beautiful architecture, stunning gardens and of course the gift shop where you can buy so many beautiful things. Devonshire Tea and Tour cost $18.00
Then at 11.30am we travel 20 minutes to the Creswick Woollen Mills taking a tour of the mills and learning about it’s history and production. Tour costs $10.00 but this is taken off the cost of purchases over $40.00. Still in Creswick we board the coach for a 1.00pm for lunch at the Farmers Arms and whilst lunch is at your own costs there will be a complimentary free, beer, wine or soft drink with your main meal. At 2.30pm we leave to travel a short way to Ascot to the visit Lambley Gardens, considered by some, to be one of the most beautiful gardens in Australia. It is a dry, sustainable garden which needs little watering, with displays of perennials which are at their peak at the time of our visit.
Tours of the garden costs $5.00 with an opportunity to purchase plants from their nursery.
Then at 4.00pm we travel home with the expectation that we should be home close to 5.15pm.
****Please note that in order to make this coach tour viable we do need 35 members and friends to register their interest. However since the coach holds 58 people we can take more, and the cost of the tour will be reduced if we can get more people.
