Our Guest Speaker is Margie Winchester. Margie’s speech is entitled “The History of the Swing Dance Era”.

Please come and join us for this exciting and entertaining journey through the history of swing dancing from 1920’s, 1930’s, 1940’s, 1950’s including the revival of swing dancing in the late 1980’s and what the swing dancers are doing today.

The Story is not just about a journey through the history of Swing dancing but also the people who were instrumental in developing the different styles of swing dances which included the Charleston, Lindy Hop and Jitterbug.
