Today we will be joined by Professor Terrence Caelli, IEEE Fellow for contributions to machine vision and pattern recognition and Fellow of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR) and Professor of Data Science at Deakin University.
Terry’s talk today is entitled Artificial Intelligence, Friend or Foe.
Terry’s academic qualifications and professional experience are internationally acclaimed in areas of front line research which includes machine learning, signal processing, cognitive engineering, data analytics pattern recognition and image processing.
All of these fields contribute to his primary focus of, and research into, artificial intelligence.
As such you can expect to get an up to date, well balanced presentation on the most topical subject today.
You may have read all the nonsense in the popular press, good and bad, but this is the opportunity to get some facts from an expert in the field.
Don’t miss what may be one of our most interesting and relevant presentations for 2023.
