For our July event will be during the school holidays as the Paris: Impressions of life 1880-1925 exhibition, held at the Bendigo Arts Gallery finishes on the 14th July.

The exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the lively and picturesque streets of historic Paris.
The banks of the Seine, bursting marketplaces, grand boulevards, idyllic public gardens and the heady atmosphere of bohemian Montmartre are brought to life in more than 170 works of art and artisan objects.

Tour seven themed pathways which leads you to discover artisan street signs, historic couture, decorative arts and paintings by well known French artists as well as vibrant graphic prints by Toulouse -Lautrec and his contemporaries.

We meet at the Sunbury Station at 9.15am to catch the 9.35 V/Line train to Bendigo, which arrives at 11.00am.
At 11.30 we have coffee at The Rifle Brigade Hotel, just across the road from the Bendigo Art Gallery, followed by lunch at 12.00. At 1.30pm we then cross the road to the gallery, where we can spend 90 minutes looking at the exhibition, after which we make our way back to Bendigo station to catch the 3.26pm train back to Sunbury and arrive back at Sunbury at 5.00pm.
