Did you know that Sunbury is no longer part of Western Water? We are now part of Greater Western Water which incorporates the old Western Water and City West Water.
It is one of three retail water corporations serving customers in metropolitan Melbourne.
It provides our drinking water, sewerage, trade water and recycled water services to all homes and businesses such as Melbourne Zoo and events including the Australian Open tennis tournament, AFL and Grand Final. Drinking water comes from a wide range of sources throughout the region and it fluctuates dependent upon both the water levels of reservoirs and availability, all of which Greater Western Water maintain to meet this vital need for clean and tested water.
Come and hear about the services that Greater Western Water provides, it’s reservoirs and how water is harvested, stored and treated before it arrives through our taps.
They will also talk about sustaining water and share tips of how this can be achieved around your home and garden and discuss the question of why is water so important to your health, and how much water should you drink? They will also talk about how you pay your bills and the availability of help when this might not be possible.
Come and join us to hear about this interesting topic which none of us can do without.

**Note this event is only open to those members who have been fully vaccinated as this is a requirement of not only U3A Sunbury but also The Sunbury Social Club where the event will be taking place.
