Legends of Brass – Last night of the Proms

For those who love Brass Bands music this is a must experience.

This will be the third time U3A Sunbury have been to this concert and the only words left to describe the experience is, joyous, wonderful, amazing and at times very sad because of the beautiful, mournful music.

This time The Legends of Brass are joined with the Australian Welsh Male Choir and the PLC Ladies Pipes and Drums who are tremendous and so talented.
So come and join us, we have 25 tickets reserved. Like all Last Night of the Proms you can sing, wave flags, stomp your feet and join hands with your friends to sing Auld Lang Syne and Jerusalam.

We will need to drive to this show which is at The Centre Ivanhoe 275 Upper Heidelberg Road, which takes about 45 minutes from Sunbury.

It is recommended that you go early as the car park can get full, and have lunch at some of the very good local cafes. In previous years, for those interested, we have met for dinner back here in Sunbury.

On our first year we had about 12 members attend, but last year that number was doubled and we all had a ball because this is something really special.
