Edena Critch is the Area Chief Ranger in Melbourne who is going to share with you what makes a Park Ranger.
Edena was a challenging child growing up in regional Victoria who had a strange relationship with an American bear, hunting native orchids and reading many books influenced by a librarian.
Her childhood experiences and ultimately a teenager led her to a path she never thought would exist, working as a Park Ranger managing various environments.
Edena has been working for the community for 30 years in multiple roles from Customer Service Ranger at Brimbank Park, Sports Liaison Manager at Albert Park, and Marine Ranger at Williamstown to Area Chief Ranger of two major rivers in Melbourne.
Please come and welcome Edena and listen to her fascinating story and experiences and for dog lovers we have encouraged Edena to provide a picture of her two dogs who are of some very rare breed.
We would like to encourage you to ponder what influences you had in your life that makes you the person you are today? We look forward to Term 3 to find out….
