Come and join us to gain a greater understanding of the projects and what they will mean to Sunbury township. There will also be talk about the designs of the crossing and how it will eventually look and be implemented into the local area.

The Sunbury Line Upgrade and the Gap Road level crossing removal are part of Victoria’s Big Build and are being delivered in partnership with Rail Projects Victoria and the Level Crossing Removal Project. Whilst disruptive, when finished both projects will provide Sunbury with bigger modern trains, creating room for 113,000 more passengers during peak time travel. Also the Gap Road Level will improve safety and ease congestion in the heart of Sunbury. It is hoped too by working on both projects together they can finish by the end of this year.
