There is an ever-growing fascination for Antarctica and all it has to offer. It is becoming a very popular trip for tourists from far and wide. This course will offer us the opportunity to learn about the geography, exploration and Management of this unique wilderness. We will have time for discussion, and hopefully watch some presentations from people who have travelled to the Antarctic.

Bernadette does not profess to be an expert on this topic but will facilitate the course and we will discover this continent together.

  • Sub- Antarctic Islands

  • People’s experience visiting Antarctica

***Please note this is a face-to-face course and only those members who have been fully vaccinated and have had their vaccination certificate sighted by U3A Sunbury can attend.
New members to Sunbury U3A must present their COVID vaccination certificate at the first class.
