Day: Mondays, 9:30 am – 11:30am
Dates: 19 Feb 2024 -18 Nov 2024

Each trip is a visit to somewhere of environmental interest, locally and close by to:
*Spend time in nature
*To enhance observation skills and make connections with prior knowledge
*Learn more about the environment
*Observe and discuss what is found, perhaps using iNaturalist
*Walk in parkland, bushland and other places (2 to 3 km)
*’forest bathe’

This is an observational, interactive course and is not intended to give formal instruction. However, aspects of ecology and scientific method will be shared and used as a focus for most sessions.

There may be times where someone provides information and answers questions.
*companionable quietude and conversation
*share ideas and knowledge with each other.
Curiosity, interest in the environment.

Depending on the location, participants may need to wear closed shoes.
Participants to provide own snacks, water, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.).
