Are you relatively new to computers, ICT (Information and Communications Technology), the internet and / or modern mobile technology and would like to understand more? Then Tackling Technology Together is for you!
This is both an instructional and a self-help activity, where the Group Leader and other Volunteer mentors will help participants get started with basic skills if needed (such as connecting to the WiFi provided or setting up an email address or a social media account), and will work through terminology, skills, issues and agreed interest areas with the group.
You will be using your own device – e.g. mobile phone, tablet or laptop computer – and an internet connection will be available. Discussions and demonstrations will be supplemented with online resources such as the Be Connected safety website and available “Apps”. Links to relevant sites will also be shared with participants via email.

****Please note this is a face to face course and only those members who have been fully vaccinated and have had their vaccination certificate sighted by U3A Sunbury can attend.
You will be waitlisted for all courses until your COVID vaccination status has been sighted.
