Charlie Bezzina served as a Detective Senior Sergeant in Victoria Police for 38 years. During his service Charlie worked in the western suburbs of Victoria and was promoted through the ranks across specialized Crime Squads including Armed Robbery, Drug Squad, Internal Investigations and Homicide. He has investigated more than 300 suspicious deaths including 150 murders. He has worked on many well known cases some of which he will touch upon. He has been awarded four Commendations at Homicide and Westgate Drug Task Force for Dedication and Commitment to Duty.

After leaving the Victoria Police in December 2009 Charlie was sought after as a Security and Risk Consultant and Private Investigator. Having regularly appeared in the media during his career with the Victorian Police he is pursed as a Media Commentator and Corporate Speaker. He also hosts “Crime Time with Charlie Bezzina” on 3AW Radio. Charlie is also the author of the best selling autobiography The Job- Fighting Crime from the Frontline.

Charlie has generously agreed to talk with us for free, his only request is that we collect donations for the Westgate Branch of the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation of which Charlie is the Ambassador.
