Anne Forbes, our presenter, qualified as a physiotherapist at the Royal London Hospital. She worked in England at various hospitals and private practices in Mayfair. After emigrating to New Zealand she worked in Hamilton for eight years. She then emigrated again, this time to Australia, and worked at Broadmeadows Community Health Centre and later various private practices in North Melbourne, Kyneton and Kilmore. No prerequisites needed.

This module of Science for the Curious is a short course, running for three sessions, outlining the principles and practices of physiotherapy, describing different types of arthritis, our musculoskeletal system and how we use physiotherapy (at home and in the treatment centre) to manage arthritis, in particular pain.
